Better than I expected in the heat
Hash Engineer hooked it up with a few hash holes: 2g Zkittles with 0.5g Rose rosin. It had been about 100 degrees on the lot, so I had managed expectations for how this might turn out.
It smoked beautifully. Lovely until the last puff. It wanted to canoe a couple of times—burn unevenly down one side—but I got those back under control pretty quickly. I wouldn’t call it a perfectly hands-off burn; I would call it a great experience.
I had a couple more in the fridge and was looking forward to them. Given the heat on the lot, I’d been prepared for a less enjoyable smoke. This one held up.
A little more context
A 2024 r/rosin post uses the name Hash Engineer and praises several rosin pucks, but they’re Key Lime Pie, Candy Oranges, and Honey Banana—not this Zkittles/Rose combination. The creator identity isn’t independently linked either. It doesn’t corroborate this hash hole. [H1]
No verifiable outside review of this exact combination turned up in the searches used for this review. I’m keeping “Rose” as I wrote it rather than silently turning it into Rozé or borrowing tasting notes from an unrelated product.
The recorded ingredient amounts describe this item; they are not preparation instructions or serving advice. Gift/payment status is unresolved.
Sources & review notes
The main review comes from my own posts and follow-up notes. Outside descriptions stay in the separately labeled section above; they aren’t additional tasting notes from me.

Name overlap only; different products and unresolved creator identity.
Not corroborating evidence for the reviewed combination; included to show why the apparent search match was excluded.
Outside reading checked in October 2026. Individual reviews are anecdotal; neither a shared strain name nor a shared producer proves a matching batch. No outside photography is reused.
