The jar
This is freeze-dried Grape Gas hash from Wooksauce. I bought it at Puffcon for $65, the same event where I picked up the PUA Chem D. The lid is Wooksauce’s holographic globe; the sticker on the bottom reads Grape Gas, 104u, @Will_ardz.
That 104u is the screen the hash was collected on. It tells you which part of the wash went into the jar, not how good the jar is (how to read hash grades).
Flawless, again
It looked great and it melted great. Another flawless batch from the Wooksauce folks. In the photos it’s bright white and powdery, with a few soft chunks.
Grape first, gas behind
It tasted great. Grape up front, with the gas coming in behind it. It leaned sweet, and the flavor lasted all the way through the exhale.
Happy, giggly, still on it
Good effects. Relaxed and happy, with a giggly, euphoric lift. My eyes got heavy, but I stayed focused.
Wooksauce at $65, again
This is the second Wooksauce jar I’ve paid $65 for. The first was the OGZ × Giraffe Puzzy, also freeze-dried, and an easy yes then too. I usually prefer air-dried hash, but Wooksauce keeps making that preference easy to set aside.
Next to the PUA Chem D from the same event, this was the lighter of the two: the Chem D put me on the couch, while the Grape Gas kept me happy and focused.
Would I buy it again? Yes.
A little more context
Grape Gas is usually listed as Grape Pie × Jet Fuel Gelato. GreenState credits Compound Genetics and True Canna Genetics with breeding it, while noting that the first breeder isn’t known. Its reviewer found the flower relaxing and happy, “even-keeled,” with a heaviness behind the eyes but no trouble focusing. [GG01] That’s close to what I felt, from a different producer’s flower.
Leaf Magazine’s 2022 pick of a Cryotrichome Labs Grape Gas rosin describes the nose as the grape “pinch” that made GDP and Mendo Purps popular in the late 2000s, lists the flavor as “fruity, diesel,” and says it “leans a bit to the sweeter side” and lasts through the exhale. [GG02] That reviewer found it more full-bodied than cerebral, “more for relaxing.” My jar was sweet on the exhale too, but felt lighter than that.
Wooksauce has a longer track record than these two jars. West Coast Weed Reviews praised how its Cookies and Cream melted back in 2021. [GG03] Mixed reports exist too; my OGZ × Giraffe Puzzy review covers them. I didn’t find anything published about @Will_ardz or an outside review of this jar. The grape, the giggles and the heavy eyes above are mine.
One jar from one batch. Effects are personal and potency wasn’t tested. The package weight and tax weren’t recorded, so there’s no price per gram here. The purchase date wasn’t recorded; the photos are from October 3, 2026.
Sources & review notes
The main review comes from my own notes and photographs. Outside descriptions stay in the separately labeled section above; they aren’t additional tasting notes from me.
Outside reading
- [GG01] Grape Gas strain review
Listed lineage, breeder credits and one reviewer’s effects on the flower.
Flower from another producer, not hash, and not this batch.
- [GG02] Grape Gas Rosin — Leaf Picks
Aroma, flavor and effects notes on Cryotrichome Labs’ Grape Gas rosin.
A different producer’s rosin from 2022, not Wooksauce hash.

An older review of the same producer.
A different cultivar from 2021; says nothing about Grape Gas.
Outside reading checked in October 2026. Individual reviews are anecdotal; a shared strain name doesn’t prove a matching cut or batch. No outside photography is reused.
